- Ćero, mama je od 12. do 19. uličarka, – kažem mojoj devojčici - aj’ spremi mami htz opremu.
- Mama! – buni se moje dete – Kako možeš da kažeš tako nešto!?
Pa šta, eto mogu, a i istina je, nema tu šta da se krije, mama će u tom periodu raditi na ulici i zato spremamo: duge gaće, topli donji deo pižame, vunene pantalone, običnu potkošulju, potkošulju sa dugačkim rukavima, debelu rolku, prsluk sa džepovima, džemper sa kapuljačom, 3 broja veće čizme, obične čarape, čarape od čiste vune i dugačku, staru, rusku bundu. Bunda nema više kopčice, ali to je, u stvari, pogodnost. Kada služim mušterije lepo landara, dok na njih čekam mogu fino da je obavijem oko sebe.
U mojoj ulici bude mirno kada stignem, jer dolazim medju prvima. Nije mi zapao ćošak, najbolje mesto, ali sam ja zadovoljna i sa mojim. Bože, molim te, samo da kiša ne padne!
„Gazda“ uzima pare unapred. Osam ‘iljadarki ovaj put, za osam dana. ‘Ajd' da kažem da je pošteno. Bar ne zakera za „radno vreme“, radimo kol’ko ‘oćemo i koliko možemo. Ja sam sama sebi i radnik i šef, pa radim po vasceli dan, a često i do pred samo jutro. Doduše, noću sam unutra, u toplom, al’ ipak… Nijedan šef mi nije bio toliko djubre, ali lova je lova. Što duže na ulici, veća šansa za zaradu, brate. A lova mi treba, eto, ‘ajd da se ne zezamo.
Polako stižu i ostali, ona riba sa ćoška, raširila se u širinu i dužinu, kao da njoj treba najviše! Ej, bre ženo, svi smo mi u istim bip, mislim se, al’ mudro ćutim. Ma, biip, treba i njoj! Treba svima, nama slobodnim umetnicima posebno. Mi smo posebna sorta. Dok platiš svoj deo ulice, dok uložiš u robu, pa putni troškovi i ostalo, a rad čak i da se ne računa, ne ostane uvek baš bog zna šta. A ima medju nama i diplomiranih inžinjera i ekonomista i akademskih slikara.. Ej, ima i jedna doktorka. Hirurg, kaže, ma biip ga, valjda ne laže. Najviše je ekonomista, jedan bio direktor, aha. Propala mu firma. Gledam ga kako se folira na ulici, ma nije ni čudo što je propala.
Poneko ima i jednog, stalno zaposlenog, člana porodice, takvima je lakše. Koji redovan dinar moćna je stvar. Al’ kad je i taj dinar bedan, mora se… Nekada nekog od njih zameni žena ili muž. Znaš kako je, kad je napolju minus, dobro ti dodje svaka ispomoć. Ne zarade oni zbog toga više, ali ono… Neki su kraće od mene na ulici i ja pratim njihovo usavršavanje. – Eno je moja Dušica! – nežno kaže bivši komercijalista, A Dušica žuri, sirota mukica, i još se oko nje širi miris zaprške. – Kuku, rasteraće nam sve mušterije! – viče bivša bankarka. U poslednje vreme Dušica sve više kasni, muka joj, valjda, i od ulice i od nas, a i od mušterija. Komercijalista kuka: – Gde je, bip joj materina, bip je kad dodje, bip bip bip!!!! – Ma ćuti, bre čoveče, pusti ženu, vidiš da je mušterija sve manje. Izgubila motivaciju. – kažem mu. Zna on, al’ i dalje bipće, tja.
Izvin’te me sad, moram da idem. Od sutra sam na ulici. Al’ obećavam, nastaviću o svemu da vam pišem, čim završim „angažman“. Stare mušterije znaju gde mogu da me nadju, a i vi ostali slobodno dodjite! Čisto, onako ljudski, da se popričamo, a daću vam malo i za džabe, majke mi. Samo malo. Od toga se živi, nema preterivanja i razbacivanja, hehehe.
Bože, samo da kiša ne pada i da ne duva prokleta košava. Košava mi je najgora!

P.S. Joj, moram i da vam se pohvalim! Ćera mi iz prve položila testove za vozački, ljubi je majka! A učila samo tri dana. Joj, mislila sam da od toga neće ništa da bude. Kako me obradovala, nemate pojma. Sad će ona majku svoju na pos’o da vozi, da majka ne moljaka komšije i ne plaća skupe taksije. Samo još i vožnju da položi, ih, biće mama na konju!
